Krysta Pindar

Krysta Pindar began dancing at the age of three and immediately fell in love with being on the stage. When she was 8, she began dancing at The Dance Corner where she continued to develop her skills in tap, ballet, and jazz, as well as broadway jazz and lyrical. She was a part of the competition team and competed with both group numbers and solo routines. As a freshman, she continued her training at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts until she graduated. At GHAA, she focused primarily on ballet, modern and dance composition. She has worked with dancers such as Kim Stroud from the Martha Graham Dance Company, Jeanne and Thomas Giroir from the Hartford Ballet, Jennifer Nugent from Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company, and Helen Simoneau from Helen Simoneau Danse. Her proudest dance moment was being chosen to perform a duet with Otis Cook from Pilobolus and Cirque du Soleil. Aside from dance, Krysta also works as a Kindergarten teacher in a local school district. She is thrilled to be back working where her love for dance truly started, and is ready to inspire her students in the same way!
