2008 Follies

It's not too
late to be a part of the 2010 Winter
Follies. We are seeking young singers to
perform in our Holiday Show Chorus on Thursday,
December 16th at the Clinton Town
Hall.
Any
students ages 10 and up with previous singing
experience (school or church choir/chorus) who are
not already dancing in the show are welcome to
sign up.
Singers
will work with Frank Natter of Face Arts Music in
Deep River. Frank is not only an
accomplished musician and teacher. He is
also Miss Linalynn's brother!
Singers
will learn two to three holiday songs that will be
performed in the Holiday show.
Rehearsals
will be held at The Dance Corner on Saturday, 12/4
and Saturday, 12/11 from 4:30-6:00PM.
There will also be a dress rehearsal at the
performance venue on December 15th from
5:00-8:00PM
There
is no cost to participate in this group, but
singers must be at all three
rehearsals.

The
Winter Follies
The
Dance Corner presents
Winter
Follies: A Celebration of the Season
through
Song & Dance
on Thursday,
December 16th at 7:30PM
at
the Andrews Memorial Town Hall Auditorium,
East Main Street,
Clinton.
Dancers, singers and
musicians from The Dance Corner of Killingworth
and Face Arts Music of Deep River, will kick off
the winter season with festive interpretations
of holiday favorites. Several Dance Corner
instructors will be dancing in the show too!
Come and support your studio and a great cause!
Admission is $7 or FREE
for one person with the donation of a new,
unwrapped toy to benefit the Marine Corps
Reserves Toys for Tots program. No military
themed toys, toys with chemicals, candy or any
weapons/ law enforcement type toys will be
accepted. Please, no used toys.
If you are unable to
come to the show, but would still like to donate
a toy, please bring your donation to The Dance
Corner between 12/1 and
12/14.

Semi-Annual
Tuition Payments
Families
who pay their Dance Corner bill semi-annually
will be receiving their invoices for the 2nd
half of the dance year this month. These
invoices cover tuition for January-May.
In
order to receive your 5% discount, your invoice
must be paid by January
3rd. |

Just
in time for the holidays, The Dance Corner has
roomy tote bags, tank tops, skirts, leotards,
dance shorts. We also have leg warmers that make
great stocking stuffers! Please visit our shop
by 12/11 to purchase any of these great gifts
for your
dancer! |
Storm
Closings
Winter is upon us, and
in the event of severe weather, The Dance Corner
may have to cancel classes. During periods of
snow, freezing rain or whenever there are
hazardous road conditions please call the studio
at 860-663-3738 or visit our website to find out
if classes are still being held.
The
Dance Corner does not cancel classes based on
school system closings. There may still be dance
class, even if area schools are
closed.
If classes have been
cancelled The Dance Corner's voicemail greeting
will let you know that we are closed. We will
also post closing information on our website,
TheDanceCorner.com. Also, you can watch WFSB,
channel 3 or WTNH, channel 8 or visit their
websites for closing
announcements. |
Tuition
Payments
Monthly
Tuition bills are due upon receipt. Payments can
be mailed to the studio or left in the "Check
Box" in the main lobby waiting area.
A $10 late fee will be
applied to any monthly or semi-annual payments
not received by the 15th of the month. Also,
there is a $25 charge for returned checks. The
Dance Corner accepts Visa, Mastercard and
Discover, allowing you to have your tuition bill
paid automatically each month. See Miss Carrie
