Samantha Welch

Samantha started dancing at the age of 3 and competing at the age of 7 at The Dance Connection in East Haven, CT, where she extensively trained in jazz, tap, ballet, and lyrical. During this time, she participated in regional and national competitions all over the country winning numerous awards and scholarships. She started teaching dance at the age of 12 and became a staff member of The Dance Connection at the age of 16.

While earning her Bachelors Degree in Justice and Law Administration at Western Connecticut State University, she was a member of the Dance Team in which she performed and choreographed routines for the team. Samantha is very excited to be teaching dance again and is looking forward to sharing her talents with students at The Dance Corner.
