Linalynn Schmelzer

Linalynn Schmelzer graduated from the Greater Hartford Academy for Performing Arts in 1999; she attended Columbia College in Chicago, IL and received a B.F.A in dance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
She has received grants, for dance
projects,"Orchestrated Impulse", from Connecticut Commission on the Arts and from the Alumni Association at the University of Massachusetts. Linalynn has performed with University Dancers, Sorvino Dance Project, Katrina O' Brien and Company among other choreographers in Connecticut, Chicago and Massachusetts. Linalynn has taught at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and Stoneleigh-Burnham School. Currently Linalynn teaches at Eastern Connecticut Ballet, The Dance Corner and does workshops all over CT while attending Pratt Institute in pursuit of a graduate degree in dance therapy.
